Luciana Paluzzi
Luciana Paluzzi is one of the brunettes made into international stars after the death of Gina Llobrigida. In the 1950s, Ms. Paluzzi worked on both sides of the Atlantic in films like Three Coins in the Fountain and Sea Fury. She was granted the opportunity to become an American TV star in the part of Simone Genet in the 1959 weekly spy show Five Fingers. She met with Bond producers in 1965 to talk about the possibility of appearing as the main character Domino Derval for Thunderball. In the end, that part was given to the former Miss France, Claudine Auger, director Terence Young offered her the Villainy role Fiona Volpe - one of the few women on this world who can resist the enticement of Mr. Bond Maybe as a form of the punishment, Fiona is killed on the dance floor by her partners, who then James takes her body to the table next to it and asks "Do you mind if my colleague sits on this one? That's not the fault of Fiona. The box-office smash enabled Luciana Paluzzi to extend her European star career to the 1970s both in the US and Europe and with movies that included Captain Nemo And The Underwater City (1969), The Six Million Dollar Man (1973), The Klansman (1974) and The Greek Tycoon
